On April 16, 2011, some 15+ Asian American Christian women crowded into a college apartment and talked, shared, and struggled over different issues that were very real and very important for them. The followings are their questions. Listen carefully to their voices behind each questions......their struggles hidden between sentences. And ask yourself: what did you hear? and how would you answer their hearts' cries?
Part (I) General question about relationship with God
- · What do you do when it feels hard to pray because your heart isn’t there and you don’t want to force yourself to pray because you don’t feel like it would be genuine?
- · When you are feeling distant from God or just spiritually dry, what do you do to help resolve that?
- · What biblical truths do you/should we emanate the most in your/our walk as a Christian woman/women?
- · Share with us one defining moment/event in your walk with God
- · If I don't pray a lot, read the Bible, meditate during a period of time, will God reach me and save me from being away from God?
